The Emitless Carbon Footprint Calculator provides estimates only, using publicly available emissions factors (including GHG Protocol, DEFRA, and other recognised sources).
Results are intended for guidance and internal decision-making and do not constitute a certified environmental audit, compliance report, or legally binding assessment.
3. Carbon Offsetting
When you purchase carbon offsets through Emitless:
- Funds are allocated to verified carbon reduction or removal projects (e.g., Gold Standard, Verra, or equivalent).
- Emitless acts as an intermediary to facilitate your contribution and retirement of credits where applicable.
- Certificates and confirmation of retirement may be provided depending on the project and availability.
- Emitless does not guarantee future project performance or carbon market behaviour.
4. Reduction Plans & Reports
Any reduction plan, consultation, or written report is based on the information you provide. Emitless cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies resulting from incomplete or incorrect data submission.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:
- Emitless is not liable for financial, operational, or strategic decisions made based on calculator results, offset purchases, or reduction plans.
- Businesses should consult a qualified environmental auditor or specialist for regulatory or compliance-level reporting.
6. Payments & Refunds
- Digital reports and tailored reduction plans are non-refundable once work has begun.
- Carbon offset purchases are non-refundable, as credits may be retired immediately.
- Subscriptions or recurring contributions may be cancelled at any time, but previous payments cannot be refunded.
7. Privacy & Data Handling
Data submitted through forms or the calculator is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Emitless does not sell or share personal information with third parties except as required to deliver purchased services.
8. Changes to Terms
Emitless may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of the latest Terms & Conditions.
